    • How and when are shipping costs determined?

       

      Shipping cost will be based on the order subtotal. Shipping chart and free shipping apply only to orders sent to the continental United States. For shipping to PO boxes, APO/FPO, Alaska, and Hawaii please call 800.344.2577.

    • When will my order ship?

       

      Orders will typically be shipped within 2 to 3 business days.

    • Will I receive a shipping confirmation?

      Once the items leave ALPS Warehouse, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking information. 

    • Why am I receiving a charge from Active Lifestyle Products and Services?

      ALPS Mountaineering is a branch of Active Lifestyle Products and Services.

    • How are weight capacities determined?

      Our listed weight capacities are based on exceeding static weight tests. 

    • What is the weight limit for ALPS tables?

      ALPS tables are meant for dining, food prep, or playing games. The weight needs to be evenly distributed.

    • Does a footprint come with the tent or do I purchase one separately?

      Footprints are sold separately. Please call 800.344.2577 if you have questions about which one would work best for your tent. 

    • Why should I get a footprint?

      Footprints are like “insurance” for your tent floor.  If you happen to have debris puncture your tent floor, it’s much easier and less expensive to just replace a footprint than your whole tent. Our footprints are customized to fit each ALPS tent individually and are a great addition to making your gear collection last longer. They are cut a little smaller than the dimension of the tent floor to assure water does not get drawn underneath your tent during a rainstorm and have corner attachments, which help keep it in place. Simple, fast, and all at a great price.

    • Where can I find the rain cover for my pack?

      You can find the rain cover in the pocket at the bottom of the pack.

    • How do I clean my ALPS gear?

      We do not suggest putting them in the washing machine; spot washing is best when possible. If you need to submerge and clean a product thoroughly, we recommend using a large tote or tub with warm water and a mild detergent and scrubbing as little as possible with only the soft side of the sponge to remove any debris. Be sure to allow the product to dry thoroughly before use or storage. 

    • How does sunlight (direct and indirect) affect my furniture?

      The materials of the furniture will be compromised if they are continually left outside and exposed to the weather. The sun's UV rays are extremely powerful and continued exposure to direct sunlight will damage the chair's fabric and overall finish. Besides just fading the fabric, the sun's UV rays will eventually weaken the fabric to the point that it will no longer support your weight, may easily tear, and may cause the chair to fail with minimal weight being applied. Even indirect UV exposure can cause the fabrics to show premature aging and result in disintegration of the bindings and fabric. It is not recommended that any of our furniture be left outside on a continued basis.

    • Can I expect to see any rust on my furniture?

      While powder coating is a very tough and durable paint system, it may lose its resistance to rust in places where the furniture has joints and "folding places" that can rub off the paint and expose the metal. Keeping the frames clean and dry will greatly extend the appearance and life of the furniture.

    • Can I buy a replacement fly or tent poles?

      Yes, please call 800.344.2577 for more details. Upon calling, please have the following information available: the country of origin and the order number of the tent. This information can be found on any of the 3 white law tags: inside the carry bag by the instructions, on the rainfly, or inside of the tent.

    • Is there a showroom?

      Yes, but only by appointment or event. Please contact kelly@alpsbrands.com for further information. 

    • My promo code isn't working, why?
